Today has open the second Nordic conference in Digital Humanities, DHN2017, in Gothenburg, Sweden: http://dhn2017.eu/

Marianne Ping Huang (Aarhus University, DK) was presenting on “Digital Humanities Education in DARIAH-EU”, at the first DH Nordic workshop on DH Education. She focussed on sharing educational formats and teaching material, within a global landscape for education. Marianne presented the DARIAH Course Registry and #dariahTEACH as DARIAH services, open for further collaboration and co-creation.

The workshop was highly interesting, approaches to digital humanities on macro, meso and micro level. According to Marianne, one senses a Nordic profile to DH Education : a lot of modules are being developed and there are much embedding of digital perspectives on a broad horizon of humanities disciplines.

#dariahTeach hopes to take the Nordic collaboration further, sharing knowledge and material and enhancing student mobility between our institutions. Stay tuned: on Thursday 16, the DARIAH Nordic Hub will have a panel where education, teaching and training would surely get a nice place at the agenda!
